Excitement about cyber ILS warranted but challenges remain
Following the emergence early last year of a number of new capital markets innovations, along with a quartet of 144A cyber catastrophe bonds in the fourth quarter, there has been much excited talk about the potential for insurance-linked securities to transform the market.
